KTM SX-E 2 AT DESTINATION MOTORCYCLES

The KTM SX-E 2 is a nimble, electric mini motocross bike designed to bridge the gap between balance bikes and full-size motorcycles. With an authentic SX-inspired design and user-friendly features, it offers young riders a thrilling yet accessible stepping stone into real dirt-bike riding.
 Performance & Power The KTM SX-E 2 is powered by a lightweight, maintenance-free 1.8 kW hub motor delivering up to 50 Nm of torque, all without chains or sprockets for added safety and simplicity. Its single-speed electric transmission enables smooth acceleration through three selectable power modes—walking, medium (~12 mph), and full (~21 mph) top speed. The bike runs on a 9.4 Ah Li-ion power-tool-style battery (approx. 337 Wh) that swaps quickly and offers up to 100 minutes of ride time. Charging is fast and convenient via a 500 W external charger—80% in ~35 minutes and full in under 60 minutes.
Control & Comfort Built around a durable centre-extrusion aluminium frame with high-end alloy and chromoly components, the SX-E 2 maintains rigidity while remaining lightweight—just 27 kg (approx. 64 lb). It features a WP non-adjustable hydraulic front fork with around 90 mm (3.5 in) of travel, paired with a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock with ~70 mm (1.3 in) travel, both finely matched for balanced damping . Ergonomically, the SX-E 2 sports reduced-diameter aluminum handlebars and slim ODI lock-on grips designed for smaller hands, plus adjustable rider ergonomics (seat-height, foot-peg and fork height) to grow with the rider—and a powerful dual 140 mm hydraulic disc braking system with child-friendly adjustable levers.
Versatility & Style The SX-E 2 combines full-bike “SX” styling with durable in-mold graphics that echo KTM’s larger motocross machines. A compact, illuminated multifunction display near the throttle shows ride-mode selection and battery status, with haptic feedback confirming activation when rolling the throttle to power on. Safety features include a rollover sensor and wrist-lanyard kill-switch. The quick-swap battery, lightweight build, and simplified electric drive make it ideal for short track sessions, family transport, or managing multiple riders—offering both usability and style across varied riding scenarios.
