The 2025 KTM 1390 Super Duke R, also known as "The Beast," delivers naked-bike rawness wrapped in aggressive naked-bar styling. Its razor-sharp silhouette and compact bodywork project minimalism with menace, while dramatic LED lighting and integrated winglets hint at its performance potential. With a 30-year Duke heritage behind it, this machine combines bold personality with serious street presence.


Ferocious V-Twin Power & Smart Ride Tech At its core is a 1,350 cc LC8 V-twin engine tuned to churn out 190 hp (about 140 kW) and 145 Nm of torque—accessible at 8,000 rpm. Variable valve timing, throttle-body EFI, twin-spark ignition, and ride-by-wire throttle control this powerhouse delivery. Its six-speed gearbox, electric start, and hydraulically operated slipper clutch offer seamless control. Riders can tailor the character with multiple ride modes, including Sport, Street, Rain, and optional Performance or Track riding settings. Additional electronics include cruise control and adjustable anti-wheelie for full throttle confidence.

State-of-the-Art Chassis & Semi-Active Suspension Built on a chrome-moly tubular space frame using the engine as a stressed member, the bike offers exceptional rigidity with minimal weight. This year, KTM introduces third-generation WP semi-active suspension (EVO version) featuring magnetic-valve damping and auto-adjust preload for real-time responsiveness. The EVO’s semi-active front fork is lighter and more reactive, while the rear monoshock adapts to rider input and load. Braking duties are performed by top-tier Brembo Stylema calipers on 320 mm front discs, supported by cornering ABS with Supermoto mode.

Ergonomics & Everyday Usability Despite its track-ready performance, the 1390 remains practical for daily use. A sculpted seat sits at a rider-friendly 834 mm, giving confident ground reach, while a larger 17.5 litre fuel tank stretches the riding range. The TFT display comes with smart integration features—USB charging, tyre-pressure monitoring, and more—to enhance ride functionality. Every detail, from sharp ride ergonomics to intelligent braking and steering settings, is engineered for both street agility and open-road comfort.
