    KTM SX-E 5

    The KTM SX-E 5 is a next-generation electric mini-cross bike engineered to ignite early motocross passion in young riders. Its READY TO RACE roots and adjustable ergonomics make it a serious, performance-focused alternative to petrol minibikes—built to last and develop with its rider.

     Performance & Power At its heart is a fully electric, water-cooled permanent-magnet motor delivering a peak of 5 kW and a consistent 13.8 Nm of torque. The compact, dust- and waterproof motor offers smooth, direct throttle response across six selectable ride modes—tailored for both beginners and aspiring racers. Energised by a generous 907 Wh lithium-ion battery, the SX-E 5 supports over two hours of gentle riding or around 30 minutes of aggressive throttle work. A 900 W charger replenishes 80 % in about 45 minutes and a full charge in approximately 70 minutes.
    Control & Comfort Built around a high-strength chromoly steel frame with a position-adjustable glass-fibre subframe, the SX-E 5 accommodates a broad range of rider sizes. Suspension quality mirrors KTM’s full-size models: a fully adjustable WP XACT air fork with 205 mm travel up front, and a WP XACT rear mono-shock with 193 mm of travel. Hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm wave rotors offer confident stopping power, while lightweight 12″ front and 10″ rear alloy wheels wrapped in Maxxis MX-ST tyres ensure traction and agility for junior riders.
    Versatility & Style Graphic styling echoes KTM’s pro-level bikes, with bold factory livery and slim, race-ready bodywork. A clear multifunction display lets users select ride mode and monitor battery status, while safety features such as a rollover sensor and parental lock with a dongle safeguard inexperienced riders. The ergonomics—like adjustable seat height and handlebars—allow the bike to ‘grow’ with the rider, and its quiet electric drivetrain makes it equally suited for backyard practice, trail sessions, or early track training.
